Regional Professional Development Specialist-Bilingual

Location: Boise, Off Campus Location - or Caldwell

The Regional Professional Development (PD) Specialist-Bilingual, under the direction of the Training Office Lead, helps support the goals of the IdahoSTARS project with English and Spanish delivery of early childhood professional development opportunities that are equitable, research-based, and demonstrate best-practices for child care providers serving children birth to 12 years old in Idaho. The PD Specialist is responsible for delivering professional development opportunities, developing early childhood curriculum and technical assistance modules in English and Spanish. This position will train staff and trainers on developed materials as needed. This position is contingent upon the continuation of work and/or funding.

Quality Child Care Consultant

Location: Lewiston

The IdahoSTARS Quality Child Care Consultant increases the quality of child care in Idaho through coaching, mentoring, and training child care educators throughout the region. The Consultant partners with child care educators to create recommended interventions using evidence-based best practices derived from peer-reviewed research and national professional guidelines and assessment criteria. The Consultant evaluates implementation results and guides child care educators through reflective progress engagement and goal-focused outcome achievement. The Consultant also recruits and orients child care educators for participation with the IdahoSTARS Professional Development System (PDS), the Quality Rating & Improvement System (QRIS), and the Idaho Child Care Program (ICCP).

Community Engagement Coordinator, Early Learning Collaboratives, Idaho AEYC

Location: Boise

The Early Learning Collaborative Community Engagement Coordinator will bring expertise and experience related to early care and education through statewide community engagement initiatives, communication and collaboration efforts, and outreach strategies in support of Idaho’s Early Learning Collaboratives.
