Professional Development System (PDS) refers to ways that child care providers can get ongoing information, skills, training, education, and benefits to increase their understanding of child care. The PDS is made available by a partnership between Idaho Department of Health and Welfare, University of Idaho’s Center for Disabilities and Human Development, Idaho Association for the Education of Young Children, and Idaho Colleges and Universities.

A regional consultant will send you a pre-packet of forms to be completed before you attend your orientation.
Professional Development System (PDS) Orientations are available to all child care providers, directors and owners interested in joining the PDS Registry. Attending the PDS Orientation is required to enroll in the PDS Registry.
