EARLY CHILDHOOD CARE & EDUCATION BADGE INITIATIVE
APPLICATIONS OPEN OCTOBER 1st 2021 - JUNE 15th 2022
IdahoSTARS badges recognize your expertise in early childhood education. Each badge represents a different domain of child development or specialized area of accomplishment. Earn points through certification, training, Targeted Technical Assistance (TTA), employment history, and/or coaching cycles.
Each badge is awarded by earning any combination of at least 10 points through approved activities. Each badge is recognized by a certificate and on your Professional Development Record (PDR) in RISE.
RECOGNITION
Child care providers can earn as many badges as they choose. For providers eligible and verified for the PDS, a $500 recognition will be awarded for each badge earned.
DEADLINE
Each badge has its own specific requirements. All badge applications must be processed by June 15, 2022.
ELIGIBILITY
Any child care provider in all verified PDS Levels AND who is eligible for IdahoSTARS incentives can apply. Is your PDS Level 1 - unverified? Upload proof of your highest level of education in RISE!
