2022-2023 Higher Education Grants
Higher Education Grants are available from the IdahoSTARS project for the 2022-2023 academic year.
To qualify for a grant, you must meet the following qualifications:
*Idaho residents attending an out-of-state school may qualify on a reimbursement basis only (see reimbursement section below).
Grants are awarded by semester and a separate application will be required for each. Payments are made directly to your school on your behalf.
The following grants are available:
You must apply through the IdahoSTARS RISE Database. If you do not already have a RISE account, you will be required to create one. (Instructions on creating a RISE account and applying for the grant.) From your RISE dashboard, navigate to Scholarships and Awards. Be sure to select “Higher Education Grant Application.”
Application Deadlines: (A separate application is required for each semester)
Fall Semester: July 1, 2022
Winter Semester: TBD
Spring Semester: TBD
Summer Semester: TBD
** All grants are subject to availability of funding.
2022-2023 Higher Education Reimbursement Grants:
Higher Education Grants are available from the IdahoSTARS project for the 2022-2023 academic year for ECE students who have paid tuition out of pocket or with student loans.
Grants are awarded by semester and a separate application will be required for each. Payments are made directly to you at your provided address and require a current W9.
Reimbursement Grants are available for qualifying tuition payments and have a maximum possible allowance of $4,500 ($5,000 graduate) per semester.
You must apply through the IdahoSTARS RISE Database. If you do not already have a RISE account, you will be required to create one. From your RISE dashboard, navigate to Scholarships and Awards. Be sure to select “Higher Education Reimbursement Grant Application.”
A separate application is required for each semester.
Applications will not be accepted until after the last add/drop date for a full refund for your semester has passed.
